Jeruk Petai / Stink Beans Pickle



In Malaysia we call it PETAI. I don't really know what it supposed to be call in English. Some people call it Stink Bean, some others call it Bitter Beans.

But in Wikipedia it called "Parkia Speciosa". Let me give you a real photo of this Petai :

How to make this Stink Bean Pickle? Let me share you the recipe.

Ingredients :
Petai
Clean Water
Salt

Method :
1. Boil raw Petai with the skin in a pot. 
2. Take out the petai and put in a bowl soak with clean water about 1-2 days for the self-peeling process.
3. Clean it up, put it in the jar with full of clean water (must in ambient temperature). 
4. Add in a bit of salt. Let it in a fridge about 2-3 days before you eat it.

Simple right?
